Training and Development
MBK Training emphasizes the importance of obtaining and maintaining employment. One of the most difficult processes that men and women will experience when reentering the workforce is finding gainful employment, in cases where there has been incarceration, or lack of employable skills. The competitive job market is almost impossible to navigate in for someone who has no verifiable employment references, in some cases for, two or three decades.
Our working through the Reintegration Program develops relationships with potential employers and allows participants to research job opportunities, develop resumes, conduct mock interviews and learn about workplace ethics. The employability trainings help participants acquire skills that will enable them to secure and retain employment. The emotional transition into society can be very complex and may hinder employability. Working through the Reintegration encourages self-analysis that allows participants to map out their goals and expectations for success.
Our workshops concentrate on the professional relationship, attitudes in the workplace and steps to facilitating effective communication
