Aggressive Management
Alternatives to Domestic Violence is our evening group sessions for individuals with violent histories who are mandated to anger management training. This 12-week program is designed specifically to assist individuals in recognizing, accepting and altering their violent behavior. ADV utilizes a three-pronged model of domestic violence that deals with aggressive behaviors toward the self, in interpersonal relationships, and in the workplace.
Constructive alternatives to violence are taught by providing stress minimization tools and developing conflict resolution strategies. Participants explore the roots of violence through the examination of a variety of situations that characteristically produce frustration and often result in aggressive behaviors. Participants engage in role-playing exercises where, together with their peers, they can address daily challenges and generate solutions. Individual and family counseling is also available through the MBK ADV Network |
